Built using javascript, sharpees, and masking tape, this site is for those games you used to play during indoor recess on that giant roll of paper. Your friends and family have since moved away and don't care about you anymore, but you can invite new ones to play with you on the internet. There are no rules. Just like, be yourself, man. You might get faved by your crush. This is actually a dating site. Just tell me what you want.

How do I Play?

Answer

First you must register for an account, using either a facebook account or email address. Once that happens, you can log in and play games.

The site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome. Javascript and Flash is required to play. Because of this, the site only allows for mac/pcs for most games. A mobile version will be released Summer 2012.

Exquisite Chat (Picto-Chat)

This game is located in the home lobby. This is meant to be a rapid, live, infinite version of an exquisite corpse. There are no rules to this game, except to try to collect (favs) by posting visual responses to the previous picture. Players with high scores will be awarded with extra features. You can collect pictures that you like by 'ing them. You will be able to use these images to create combos in the future.

Fav: You do this by clicking this heart on the top right corner of the image. The fav score represents how many people have already 'd this image.

Un-Fav: If you accidentally an image you don't like, you can always re-click to Un-Fav it.

To participate in the exquisite chat, look for the icons on the lower left corner of the Home Page. (seen below)

An ideal size for images that you find will be 600 x 260. Pictures will be squashed and stretched in order to fit these dimensions. The pictures will then be stitched together into an infinite collaborative scroll. Currently, you can add drawings, uploads, links to images, and webcam shots.

Exquisite Corpse

This game is similar to the exquisite chat; There are no objectives except for collecting (favs) while collaborating with other players to create finished corpses from individual "body parts". The difference is that only a small sliver of the previous drawing will be seen by you, so you will be asked to continue a drawing without knowing it's content. (The drawings will be revealed after 5 the "body parts" of the corpse are finished.) The terms "body part", "head", and "feet" are suggestive and do not necessarily need to literally represent actual parts of a body.

This is a turn based game. This means you can spend as long on a visual response as you like, without losing your turn.

Only drawing is allowed, so that the style of the completed corpse can remain consistent.

This game was invented by the surrealists, and the idea was to invoke the universal consciousness through obstructed collaboration. Wikipedia Entry

Why do I need to register?

Answer

This is a social site. So it would be cool to know if you are a real person. We're not selling your credit card number to terrorists, or enlarging your penis. Your email address will never be made public. It's totally fine to make a fake identity. You might be emailed if there is a special event, (such as a contest), or if somebody that knows you is inviting you to continue a game that they just worked on.
